Our Story

We opened our doors back in the 1980's and have been serving up outdoor and lifestyle clothing, shoes, and info for all outdoor enthusiasts living in or visiting the Arkansas River Valley, Salida, & Buena Vista ever since.

In 2010 we moved to our current location at the corner of the stoplight at First and F Streets and continue our reputation as the premeir local choice for active lifestyle clothing and technical outerwear for the hardcore outdoor enthusiast and the first time weekend recreationist.

The Landry's In 2009 Matt & Courtney moved their family back to Salida from the bustle of Los Angeles (Matt grew up in the Colorado mountain hamlet of Lake City) to take over the iconic downtown Salida store. Matt & Courtney have combined Matt's passion for the outdoors and Courtney's eye for fashion and sharpened their focus towards a more "lifestyle" approach to clothing. Matt and Courtney are dedicated to bringing only the best looking and most comfortable clothing to downtown Salida.
